Meet Our Staff

Hello, my name is Tom Shirley. I was born and raised in Arkansas. I have been married twenty-three years and have two wonderful children. In 1982 I began my journey into the car business. I started off selling cars then quickly moved into management. Within six years I had opened my own car lot. In 2006 I started organizing a group of technicians that take pride in there work, not to mention enjoy what they do. These guys can install custom stereo systems, mobile electronics, aftermarket performance parts, body kits and all mobile accessories for a vehicle. Our team consists of myself, Keith, Don, and Brent. Our goal here at Discount Audio is to provide quality products at affordable prices. The mission of our team is to be the best in our business. And to install our products to perform to the best of its ability. And to build stereo systems for sound quality while maintaining integrity of the vehicle.

Hello, my name is Keith Jennings I am the head technician here at Discount Audio. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a associates degree in electronics technology and advanced trouble shooting. Audio and electronics have been my life since I was a child. I loved to take stuff apart just to see how it worked. My stepfather worked for Auto Audio installing car stereo. He was one of the best in the state. He inspired me to get into the business I'm in today. I started installing car audio at the age of fifteen for my friends and family. In 1988 I got my first professional car audio technician job for Car Tech Audio. That was before there was any kits and harnesses for stereo's or tech support. Then I moved on to manage Alta Mere for three years. I have been a installer for a few different companies, such as Audio World, Arkansas Car Stereo before finding my home here at Discount Audio.

Hello, my name is Don. Out of high school I opened a trim shop putting on vinyl tops, carpet strips, etc. for most large car lots in Fort Worth, this led to the opening of my first body shop. Since that time I have learned a great deal of crafty "Tricks of the Trade" over the years. And my career was started paired with my love for cars. And so, I then began to build muscle cars, 60s and 70s models. Not to long after this my father retired from the post office and had decided to move back to Arkansas, and I went along as well. We purchased our land just off Steel Bridge Road in Benton. We cleared the land and built our homes and my shop. By doing this my dad gave me the perfect opportunity to be able to afford to do as a career the thing I enjoy the most, working on old cars or "YARD ART" as my mom would say. In the beginning I went to work for J.D. Grim, who in the field of auto building was producing some of the top craftsmanship cars in town. I learned a great deal of fabricating skill from this working experience.

• Our facility has a complete metal fabrication shop which includes: English wheel, shears, brakes, and a bead roller. Which makes our capabilities endless in the field of metal fabrication. We also have a top of the line paint shop, equipped with a DuPont color mixing system. I am also certified DuPont color tech and have attended all the schools as well. We pride ourselves with our auto body fabrications, and our paint applications. And our pride along with the customers satisfaction is the most important aspect of Dons Auto Body.

Hello, I am Brent Lawrence I am the Performance Technician in conjunction with Discount Audio. I have been in the auto mechanic field for almost twenty years. I am a very respected mechanic and enjoy upgrading vehicles. To get the best performance out of an automobile. My goal is to be the best in my field and overwhelm my customers.
