Vitek Spark Plug Wires

VITEK Ultra Series Braided spark plug wires are manufactured with our unique stainless steel wire wound ("Mag Wire") conductor with a Dupont KevlarŪ core for superior pull strength. The conductor is insulated with an extrusion of pure gold silicone then braided with fiberglass to achieve ultimate mechanical strength of the finished product. The spark plug wires go through a second extrusion of pure silicone to a finished diameter of 6mm, 8mm, or 9mm depending on the original equipment requirements. It should be noted that this construction offers superior dielectric properties and capacitance over larger diameter wires offered by some manufacturers as a marketing gimmick. Oversize wires often do not fit the original looms making routing a problem as well as not providing the proper fit for the boots and terminals. Larger diameter wires offer virtually no dielectric advantage and many disadvantages.
