Now it's official:
Renauer Motorsport will compete in the FIA GT world championship 2006 with two Porsche 911 GT 3 and REMUS Sportexhaust is the leading partner of this
project. "We strive for a top three position in the FIA GT 2-class and will certainly surprise our competitors during the season" says the team-boss Mr. Renauer.
From the snow to the street: The most famous team-member is Hans Knauß who won an olympic and a world
championship medal as well as several world cup competitions in alpine
skiing. After finishing his professional skiing career he tested the Porsche at the Pannoniaring last year and showed a noticeable performance.
REMUS CEO Angelika Kresch: "The results make his ambitions towards professional
motorsport look realistic. We hope to see one or another surprise from Hans
Knauß and wish the team all the best for 2006!"
The other drivers are the Porsche world cup champion Wolfgang Kaufmann
(GER), Claus Schunk (GER, 2nd place in the CZ-Endurance series 2005),
Manfred Jurasz (AUT, several podiums in the FIA GT world championship) and
Petr Vàlek (CZ, 2nd place in the FIA GT race in Brünn 2005).
The whole REMUS team looks forward to many top results and plenty of success in 2006!
